Career Coaching

We spend so much of our lives at work, we deserve to be working in an environment that we enjoy. If you’re unhappy with your work or workplace, this can affect your mental health and wellbeing. Over time, this can also affect other aspects of your life, such as your relationships and home life.

While friends and family may offer their support and advice, there are times when you might need something more – this is where Career Coaching comes in.

What is Career Coaching?

Career Coaching will help you take a step back to review your current working situation. To establish personal goals and support you in making a career change. A career coach will never tell you what decisions you should make. They are there to listen; to establish your skills, understand your ambitions and develop any areas that need improvement. A career coach will support you in the process of finding a more fulfilling working life.

What are the benefits?

What you take away from career coaching is in your hands, but some of the things we can help you with are:

· Understanding what your “dream job” looks like

· Identifying the things that you are outstanding at

· Identifying obstacles

· Interview techniques to help you stand out from the crowd

· CV writing

· Changing your career path

· Identifying an achievable set of goals

· Helping you to find the right work/ life balance

· Helping you to return to the workplace after a long spell of sickness or after having children.

You don’t need to be in full-time employment to benefit from career coaching. You might have recently been made redundant, furloughed or a graduate who has been in long term education.

Being unsure of what you want to do is not a show stopper. It’s merely a question of spending some time things about the things that excite you. Is there something that you loved as a child? Do you have a hobby that gives you real satisfaction? Is there an industry that particularly interests you? Do you know what your strengths and weaknesses are? Do your friends and family agree?

Once you have a few things written down, a career coach can work with you to call our areas of improvement, identify the skills that stand out and help you to build a plan of action to achieve your goals.

Here at CareerJuice, we are offering a one-hour career coaching Zoom session for only £29. Now is the perfect time to prepare yourself for what comes next.
